Safeguarding

The Parish of St Paul’s, East Molesey is committed to the safeguarding, care and nurture of the children within our church community, and also to creating an environment where all people and especially those who may be vulnerable are able to worship and pursue their faith journey with encouragement and in safety.
The PCC of St Paul’s has adopted the House of Bishops Safeguarding Policy together with the supporting safeguarding policies and practice guidance. The Policy Statement can be viewed online on the Church of England website.

If you have any concerns around the welfare of a child or adult at risk:
The first person to speak to is Susan Halliday, our Children, Youth and Vulnerable Adults’ Safeguarding Representative (Parish Safeguarding Officer). Susan can be contacted at: pso@stpaulmolesey.org.uk
If for any reason Susan is not available, you can speak to the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisers, Vicki Boxall or Natasha McMillan, on tel: 01483790379 or email: safeguarding@cofeguildford.org.uk.
Parish Safeguarding Policy:
Every year the PCC will agree the Parish Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults Policy Statements, displaying each copy in the church and forwarding one copy of each to the Diocesan Safeguarding Officers for their records. At St Paul’s you can view these on the notice board in the porch, or online below.
